For the ring, the prized piece of jewelry remained with the princess until his death. Later his eldest son, Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with his mother’s sapphire ring.
Like her mother -in -law, Princess Kate also wore a blue dress during her declaration of her engagement, blowing big stone on her finger.
