This unusual food experiment was introduced by Instagram user Heena Kausar Rad. She posted a video showing a pot full of mango biryani, which she prepared for a “tropical summer party”.
The clip begins with Heena saying, “Today we have made mango biryani. So will you eat our mango biryani? [Today we have prepared mango biryani. Would you like to try this dish]? Because it’s a summer tropical party.” In the video, Hina is seen standing behind a vessel filled with bright yellow biryani with sliced mangoes on top. In no time, foodies flooded the comment section. Many users claimed that she was hurting the sentiments of the people of Hyderabad, whose authentic style of biryani has won the hearts of many. “Has this lady gone mad?” wrote a user. Some users urged her, “Please, can you stop this?” “Please stop attacking biryani,” said a foodie. Another wrote, “Justice for biryani + mango.” Some users claimed that this food experiment is almost like eating pineapple with pizza. “It’s the same as putting pineapple on pizza.” “Please don’t do this to biryani,” requested another person.
