Direct-to-home firm Dish TV India Ltd on Wednesday reported Rs. 37.38 crore reported a consolidated net loss. A year ago, in the July-September quarter, the company posted Rs. 5.41 crore in net profit, the company’s filing said.
In the September quarter, its income from operations fell by 17.43 percent to Rs. 395.62 crores. In the same quarter a year ago, it was Rs. 479.15 crores.
In the September quarter, Dish TV’s total spend fell by 6.43 percent to Rs. 437.97 crores. Its costs include cost of goods and services, cost of personnel and other costs.
Dish TV’s total revenue, which includes other income, fell 17.55 percent in the September quarter to Rs. 400.59 crores.
Shares of Dish TV India Ltd on BSE are trading at Rs. 11.77 per scrip, down 3.29 percent from the previous close at Rs.
