Many Bollywood celebrities wished Diljit Dosanjh a happy birthday as he turned a year older on January 6. His upcoming Bollywood film Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, is set to release on Republic Day.

On January 6, actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh celebrated his birthday, with colleagues and friends from the film industry wishing him warm wishes. Prominent celebrities like Sunil Shetty, Sonam Bajwa and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali expressed their appreciation for the artiste and wished him on his birthday.

Actor Suniel Shetty posted a message on Instagram saying, “Happy Birthday Diljit Dosanjh. May your music touch the skies, touch hearts wherever you go. And thank you for always standing by Ahaan with such warmth. Tussi sach bahut heart jeet lete ho paaji. Keep trying, keep shining, keep inspiring.”

Sonam shared a personal tribute on her Instagram stories, featuring a throwback picture with Diljit. He wrote, ‘Happy birthday to the person who rules the hearts of the world. Have a very blessed day. She is ready to share the screen with border 2,

Imtiaz Ali, who directed Diljit’s biographical film amar singh brightPosted a behind-the-scenes photo from the set. Her note to the actor read, ‘Always shine, always chardikala, always happy. Diljit Dosanjh, happy birthday (sic).’

Diljit’s birthday coincides with heightened excitement for his upcoming appearance border 2It is a film directed by director Anurag Singh and produced by JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. The cast includes Sunny, Varun Dhawan, Sonam and Ahan Shetty among others.

The production team has recently launched the song When will you come home Tanot, Jaisalmer. It is a reimagined version of the iconic track from the 1997 film. The song blends the original vocals with new renditions, also featuring Diljit, which aims to honor the spirit of Indian soldiers.

At the launch event, Sunny talked about the emotional resonance of the song over the years. Varun recalled the lasting impact of the track, while Ahan reflected on the connection between the original film, which starred his father, and this new adaptation.

border 2 It is scheduled for nationwide theatrical release on January 23, coinciding with the Republic Day celebrations.
