Diljit Dosanjh has defended a girl who was mocked for crying at his Jaipur concert, saying he understands why people get emotional at his shows. He further said, ‘Only people who have emotions can cry.’
Singer Diljit Dosanjh slammed trolls who made fun of a girl crying at his Jaipur concert. During his Hyderabad show, the singer expressed his understanding towards fans getting emotional at his performance, saying that he connected with them and understood the emotional power of music. Diljit also shared a video on Instagram, hitting back at the trolls, saying that making fun of the girl was tantamount to “insulting the country’s daughter”.
In the video, Diljit said, “Music is an emotion. It makes people smile, dance, fight, fall and even cry. I myself have cried many times listening to music. Only they can cry. Those who have feelings, I got it.” You, don’t worry about it.”
The singer further added, “These girls – no one can stop them. They are independent; not only men but women also earn. They earn and can enjoy themselves. You are insulting her, you daughter of the country. are insulting.”
She shared the video with the caption, “A woman who knows her worth doesn’t need validation – she shines bright enough to light her own path.” The video showed several scenes of girls getting emotional during Diljit’s performance. In the video, a man who attended a concert also shared, “I cried. I had no hesitation in shedding tears. I saw that people were trolling a girl who was crying. But, I Attended the concert and it came out naturally, crying is absolutely natural, guys.”

Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati tour spanning 11 cities began on October 26 in New Delhi. Hyderabad was the third stop of the tour and he will next perform in Ahmedabad.
