Diljit Dosanjh has been touring the world with his team to entertain his fans with his stellar performances and soulful music. With his Dil-Luminati Tour, the singer-actor managed to create history. His tour became the largest global tour by an Indian artist ever. While this is a big achievement in itself, Dosanjh recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was also proud of the artiste.
On January 1, 2025, the official Instagram handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a video giving a glimpse of Diljit Dosanjh’s recent meeting with the Prime Minister of India. The video starts with the singer-actor entering the PM office carrying a bouquet of flowers.
Dressed in a long black coat with matching pants, white shirt, tie and a turban, the Crew actor looked handsome as ever. Soon after, he posed for photographs with PM Modi after which he sat for talks. The caption of the video reads, “A very memorable conversation! Here are the highlights.”

In the clip, PM Modi can be seen telling the Amar Singh Chamkila actor, “It feels good when a village boy of India makes a name for himself in the world. Your family named you Diljit so you won the people. (It feels great when a village boy in India makes the country proud. Your family named you Diljeet and you are winning people’s hearts.)”
During the conversation when they discussed the greatest things about India, Dosanjh said, “We used to read that my India is great. When I went outside I realized why it was said so. (We used to read that our country is great. When I started traveling the world I realized why it is said so.)
The Lovebirds singer also shared several pictures from their meeting on his Instagram handle.
