The third schedule for ‘Border 2’ has started in Pune, in which actors Diljit Dosanj and Ahaan Shetty have joined the rest of the artists. The film is being directed by Anurag Singh and Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan are also in important roles.

Actors Diljit Dosanjh and Ahaan Shetty joined the team of ‘Border 2’ on Tuesday. Both are playing the role of soldiers with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. During the start of filming earlier this year, the third schedule is now being shot at the National Defense Academy in Pune. The manufacturers released a picture taken at the academy, which featured Dosanj and Shetty sitting with Deol and Dhawan.

Producer Bhushan Kumar, Nipi Dutta, director Anurag Singh, co-producer Shiv Chanana, and Binoy Gandhi were also seen posing with artists in the photo.

‘Border 2’ is the sequel to the 1997 hit film ‘Border’, with Deol, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Akshay Khanna, along with others. The film was based on the battle of Longwala, which was one of the major busyness during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. It was directed by JP Dutta.

Earlier this month, several reports suggested that actor Sonam Bajwa was put in the film with Dosanjh. This is the fourth cooperation between the two actors, which are widely celebrated in the Punjab film industry.

Meanwhile, the new ‘Border’ film is expected to attract the same story of patriotism, sacrifice and passion which was celebrated by the previous film. As described by the first manufacturers, sequel will respect the valor and indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers, his brilliant visit to patriotism, courage and sacrifice. The shooting of the film is expected to be wrapped by mid -August this year.

‘Border 2’ is scheduled to hit the screen on 23 January next year during Republic Day.
