Ram Charan starrer game Changer hit a big screen on January 10, 2025. In an interview recently, the film’s co-producer Shirish Reddy made a controversial remarks against the RRR actor and now his cousin Dil Raju has provided clarification.
Dil Raju defends Shirish Reddy on comments against Ram Charan
After the comments made by Shirish Reddy, Dil Raju said, “Ram Charan was very helpful for us. Although we suggested that he takes another film, he stood by game changer and gave more time to the project. We are grateful to Charan to support our second release during the phase.”
The manufacturer of Varisu said, “He and his cousin underlined how to share a good synergy with Charan,” This was Shirish’s first time talking to the media, and he became emotional about those financial situations.
What did Shirish Reddy say about Ram Charan and Game Changer?
For those people, in a recent interview, Shirish Reddy openly accepted the facing financial strains after the failure of the game changer. Accepting the same, the manufacturer commented on how neither Ram Charan nor director Shankar approached him later.
Talking about the film, the game changer was a political action drama, which included Ram Charan in the lead role. The film describes the story of an honest IAS officer who takes corrupt politicians to protect the system and society.
The film, directed by Shankar, performed a troop of actors from artists like Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Surya, Srikanth, Sunil, Jairam, and more, with the RRR actor playing a dual role as a father and son.
Coming on the work front of Ram Charan, the actor is currently shooting for the film Peddi directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The Sports Action Drama is slapped to release on March 27, 2026, in which Janhvi Kapoor is playing a romantic lead.
Apart from Charan and Janhvi, actors like Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapati Babu are also part of the film.
Moving forward, actor will once again join hands for the title RC 17 with director Sukumar. The film will mark the reunion of the actor and director after the success of the blockbuster Rangasthalam.
