According to a report news18, Director H Vinoth reportedly received Rs 25 crore for the film, which is said to be the biggest remuneration of his career. Vinoth, known for action entertainers, is also said to have spent several years shaping the project before finalizing it. Composer Anirudh Ravichander, whose music has given blockbusters like Leo and Jailer, has charged Rs 13 crore for the soundtrack and background score.
It is said that the film’s lead actress Pooja Hegde has earned Rs 6 crore for the film. Bobby Deol, who played the main antagonist, reportedly received Rs 5-10 crore. After the success of Animal, he has become a popular choice for high-profile South Indian films.
According to media reports, the supporting cast also got a substantial pay cheque. Prakash Raj reportedly earned Rs 5 crore, while Priyamani and Gautham Vasudev Menon were paid Rs 3 crore each. It is said that Narayan had received Rs 2.5 crore. Reports on Mamita Baiju’s remuneration vary widely, with estimates ranging from Rs 60 lakh to Rs 2 crore. None of these figures have been officially confirmed by the manufacturers or independently verified by India Today.

Part of the review reads, “Even as the censor board has muted most of the direct Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) references and softened the sharp party call-outs – what’s left on screen is still more interested in championing Vijay as a thoughtful politician and an alternative option that Tamil Nadu desperately needs rather than telling the story. It’s loud and aggressive, but rarely earns a living.”
