Dia Mirza demands apology from the media after a clean chit of CBI

The CBI filed a closure report to the Mumbai court, saying that there was no evidence to play any dishonesty behind the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Actor Dia Mirza demanded the media to apologize to Riya Chakraborty and her family for ‘pain’ during the test.

In an Instagram stories, actor Dia Mirza questioned the media whether he would apologize after Riya Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He mentioned that during the test of Sushant Singh Rajput, the media caused pain and harassment to Riya and her family. The CBI filed a closure report with the Mumbai court stating that there was no dishonesty in the death of actor Sushant.

Apart from Dia Mirza, actor Pooja Bhatt wrote on X that the Justice has become stronger with the release of the closure report. He wrote, “CBI’s March 22, 2025, the closure report confirmed the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, which is a suicide without any dishonesty, cleaning #Rheachakraborty and others. Actor Riya Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde welcomed the CBI report and thanked the agency.

“The CBI has filed a closure report regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput after nearly four and a half years. We are grateful to the CBI for thoroughly investigating every aspect of the case from all angles. Maneshinde said.

34 -year -old Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra region of Mumbai on 14 June 2020. His father, KK Singh, had accused Riya Chakraborty and his family of abusing his son’s money (Rs 15 crore from his accounts), a claim that he denied several television interviews.
