Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is one of the most awaited films of 2026. The spy action drama is set to hit the big screens on Eid 2026 (March 19), clashing with Yash starrer Toxic. Although there are still 3 weeks left for the film to be released, its advance booking started yesterday evening in the US and UK. Here’s what the initial reaction is like.
As of March 2, Dhurandhar 2 has sold around 2000 tickets. 209 shows at over 150 venues in the United States. This takes its premiere day advance booking to USD 37,500. The film recorded an additional US$17,500 in advance on the first day (Thursday), bringing its total sales to US$55,000 on the first day including the Wednesday premiere.
So far, advances were opened in limited screens, with sales yet to begin in the two major chains—Cinemark and almost all AMC theaters. A big jump in progress can be expected when these chains open their ticket windows. With still 17 days left for the premiere, the Ranveer Singh starrer is likely to register impressive advance bookings.
With the initial lead, the excitement among the spectators is clearly visible. The trailer is expected to arrive in a few days, which will increase its sales in all regions. Notably, Dhurandhar is the highest-grossing Bollywood film in the United States with approximately US$13 million. Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge will aim to overthrow this and set a new benchmark.
For those unaware, Dhurandhar 2 will mark the return of the original star cast which includes Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and others. It will be interesting to see whether Akshay Khanna will return in the flashback parts or not.
