Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited film Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, is having a strong pre-selling at the box office. As of 10 pm (March 17), the spy action drama sold around 6.70 lakh tickets across the top two national chains, PVRINOX and Cinepolis, for the opening day, including paid previews.
Of this, around 3.70 lakh tickets were sold for the premiere day alone, while 3 lakh admissions were recorded for the opening day. As the film is getting closer to its release day, its sales are seeing a huge increase.
With about 17 hours still left for paid previews, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is heading towards the 4 lakh mark for its preview sales. Opening day bookings at national chains are also expected to close between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
Had there been no previews, the Ranveer Singh starrer would have crossed the 5 lakh mark long ago and even challenged the historic opening day sales of Avengers: Endgame.
