Yami Gautam recently talked about powerful and widely shared monologue on women empowerment with her Netflix film Dham dhamIn which she acts with Pratik Gandhi. The actress gave monologue in the same tech, and reacting to the same, she shared, “I think my best comes in the first two, preferably the first tech, especially when something is really coming from your heart. ”
Emotional speech, Yami Gautam’s character, cuckoo, highlights everyday struggles, which tolerate women, including frequent harassment, catches, social pressure to marry, and expectations for children.
Her monolithic also throws light on how social expectations forces women to bear discomfort even in excessive heat, wearing heavy, restrictive clothes. Additionally, his character boldly addresses even more unstable issues, including some men sent unwanted images.
She also addressed the harsh reality that if a woman gives birth to a girl, she often faces additional pressure to have more children.
Discussing the scene in a chat with NEWS18, which Yami gave in the same tech, she explained that she never comes with moments that many people need or need shots. She emphasized that it is important to correct it for her, as she believes that taking initials is often the most authentic.
While some actors take time to heat up and gradually reach the right spirit, they feel that their best performance comes within the first two, preferably first, especially when emotions are real and warm.
Yami further shared that, as a woman, many can belong to parts of the monologue – perhaps not a whole speech, but at least a few lines. He said that the key is to consider different approaches and to balance them all those feelings to channels a single, impressive distribution.
Yami also shared how the actual response to Pratik Gandhi’s monologue resulted in a slight improvement. He revealed that his response naturally inspired to add a line that was not originally in the script- “What are you looking at the Idhar?”
Dho Dham premiered on Netflix on 14 February 2025. Dham Dham opened the same for positive reviews from fans and critics. The film is supported by Yami’s husband and director Aditya Dhar.
