Eko is the story of an elderly woman, Mlathi Chedathi, who lives in a secluded hilly area of ​​Kattukunnu near the Kerala-Karnataka border. With her children away, her only human company is her caregiver, Pios.

Mlaathi is one of the many wives of notorious dog breeder Kuriachan, who is being hunted by both the state and the terrorist group. While he remains underground, his wife and caretaker begin to uncover hidden truths about him, leading to a story filled with mystery and tension.

Even in his absence, each character grows into someone more suspicious, with each character doubting the other’s true intentions.

The film stars Sandeep Pradeep in the lead role, along with Biyana Momin, Sim Zee Fei, Vineet, Saurabh Sachdeva, Narayan, Ashokan, Binu Pappu and many others in pivotal roles.

Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan of Kishkindha Kaandam fame, the film is written by cinematographer Bahlul Ramesh, who has also handled the visuals. Produced by MRK Jhayaram under the banner of Aaradhya Studios, the film has music composed by Kalamkaval fame Mujeeb Majeed. This mystery thriller has been edited by Suraj ES.

Dhanush was last seen in the lead role in the Hindi language film Tere Ishq Mein. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film tells the story of a man named Shankar, who develops a relationship with Mukti while she is doing her PhD research on Mukti.

After Mukti ends their relationship, Shankar loses his temper and creates chaos before leaving his old life behind. Years later, when they meet again their unresolved past resurfaces and the film tells what happens to both of them next.

Looking ahead, Dhanush will next be seen in the tentatively titled D54. The film, directed by Por Thozil fame Vignesh Raja, is expected to have Mamita Baiju in the co-lead role.
