Devara Part 1 directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor is a huge success at the box office. This becomes the second pan-Indian film for Jr NTR after RRR. As far as Koratala Siva is concerned, he is making a comeback with a bang after Acharya, which had put him in a lot of financial stress. As Devara Part 1 leads towards the Dussehra season which is big in Andhra states, we can easily expect a strong finale.
Devara Part 1 is a global super-hit; Paving the way for Devara Part 2
Devara Part 1’s second week Indian earnings stood at Rs 295 crore. India’s share is about Rs 160 crore. More than 60 percent of the film’s collection has come from Andhra states. It is a certified blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh and super-hit in Telangana. Sea Adventure has been successful in doing super-hit level business in Karnataka also. The Jr. NTR starrer film performed generally in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Business in Hindi is good to average but breakout like Pushpa, KGF or Kantara is missing.

Devara Part 1 is all set to earn Rs 400 crore worldwide
Bharat’s final gross looks to be heading towards Rs 325 crore. This would mean that Devara Part 1 will also come closer and probably even cross Rs 400 crore worldwide. The final total worldwide would be under Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time, as the latter had fared much better internationally. Devara Part 1 is a money maker for everyone involved and it is advisable to start work on Part 2 as the acceptance is showing with a strong trend in week 3 as well.

About Devara Part 1
Devara: Part 1, starring Jr. NTR in the lead role, tells the story of a man who is both feared and respected among four villages in the coastal region known as Devara. The film depicts his journey as a mobster and how he eventually turns against crime and becomes an urban legend.
Due to his fearsome reputation, other villagers hesitate to get involved in crime, while many rivals struggle to regain control. Amidst all this, his son Vara tries to make a life for himself, standing in stark contrast to his father’s personality and legacy.
The remainder of the film revolves around Deora’s opponents as they attempt to subdue him and diminish his legendary status, while the mysterious figure hides among them, ready to defend his position.
