Devara: Part One got a big boost at the worldwide box office on its first Wednesday opening due to the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. The Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer has crossed the earning benchmark of Rs 300 crore globally and Rs 200 crore in India. This is the second film of Jr NTR to cross the benchmark of earning Rs 300 crore worldwide after RRR. However, this is the first single release in his career to touch this figure.

  • Friday: Rs 82.5 crore
  • Saturday: Rs 38.2 crore
  • Sunday: Rs 39.9 crore
  • Monday: Rs 12.75 crore
  • Tuesday: Rs 14 crore
  • Wednesday: Rs 20.50 crore
  • Total: Rs 207.85 crore

Devara opened big in the Telugu state on Wednesday due to national holiday and earned Rs 12-13 crore. Even the Hindi business grew and the total earnings stood between Rs 7.50-8.50 crore. The total Hindi collection of the film after six days of release is around Rs 41 crore. It is expected to cross the Rs 50 crore earning benchmark before its second weekend at the domestic box office.

With one more day left, the first week collection of Devara is likely to end between Rs 255 crore and Rs 217-220 crore, which is a good sign for the film. The action drama has got a long window to perform at the box office and there are no major releases this weekend.
