Delhi to host International Film Festival before March 25
Delhi will host its first International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026 from March 25 to 31, featuring over 125 Indian and international films.
Delhi will host its first international film festival from March 25 to March 31, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Tuesday. The event, titled International Film Festival Delhi (IFFD) 2026, will screen more than 125 Indian and international films across multiple venues in the capital.
The curtain raiser was unveiled at the Delhi Secretariat in the presence of Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra on February 25, 2026. This Mahotsav will be organized at major places in New Delhi including Bharat Mandapam.

IFFD is a government-led initiative organized by the Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation. Apart from film screenings, the week-long event will include grand premieres, masterclasses, panel discussions, workshops and cultural performances.
According to officials, the festival is in line with the Delhi Film Policy Its aim is to promote film tourismTalent development and industry collaboration. Special sections will focus on digital and emerging cinema.
CineExchange Film Market and Cineverse Expo will provide networking and business opportunities for professionals. Masterclasses and panel discussions by filmmakers and industry experts are also part of the programme.
The festival will also promote a single-window facilitation system to streamline shooting and production-related processes in the city.
