KVN Productions is the producer and exclusive copyright owner of Thalapathy Vijay Jan Nayganhas issued a statement after the film was leaked on social media and pirated websites. The producers urged violators to remove the clip and warned violators of legal action.

The production house confirmed that “some scenes and, in some cases, the majority of the film have been illegally accessed, copied and circulated by unknown persons”. He called it a serious threat of digital piracy.

KVN Productions emphasizes that downloading, viewing, storing, forwarding, sharing, uploading or transmitting the leaked content through WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Xx, YouTube, website, torrent or any other medium is a criminal offense and a violation of copyright laws.

The manufacturers further said that every digital activity can be traced. They have already initiated necessary investigation including forensic analysis and filed complaints against those involved. Efforts are ongoing to identify all individuals in the chain of circulation.

KVN Productions warned, “Strict civil and criminal proceedings will be taken against every offender without exception.”

The public is strongly advised not to engage with the leaked material in any way. The statement warned that anyone found involved will face immediate legal action at their own risk. The manufacturers urged people not to open, store, or forward it and to discard it immediately.
