Deals: There’s £200 off iPhone Air, Poco and Nothing phones on sale

Last week, we saw some discounts on the iPhone 17e and 17 Pro Max — now let’s take a look at a different model, the iPhone Air.

This phone is one of the thinnest phones, measuring 5.6 mm and weighing only 165 grams. It has a titanium frame to keep it sturdy despite its slim structure. The phone has a powerful Apple A19 Pro chipset and a 6.5″ LTPO display. What suffers most is its camera hardware – there’s only a 48MP (1/1.56″) unit on the back – and its battery capacity. The small 3,149mAh battery recorded average endurance with an active usage score of 12:44 hours.

The Google Pixel 10 is a small phone with a 6.3″ screen. Well, it’s smaller in terms of height and width, it’s actually thicker (8.6mm) and heavier (204g). This gives it a larger battery, 4,970mAh. However, due to the poor efficiency of its Tensor G5 chipset, it only achieved an active usage score of 12:08h.

If you want something cheaper, the Pixel 10a is another 6.3″ option from Google. It uses the older Tensor G4 chipset. This may be a boon as the slightly larger 5,100mAh battery lasts significantly longer with a 15:13h active usage score. Note that the 10a loses the Pixel 10’s 10.8MP 5x/112mm periscope camera.

Last week, the Nothing Phone (4B) was on pre-order, now the phone is available. But is it worth it? That’s £80 cheaper than the base 8/128GB version of the Nothing Phone (4A), which you can find at Nothing.tech. (4a) has a better chipset (Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 vs 6 Gen 4), better storage (UFS 3.1 vs UFS 2.2), better cameras (including a 50MP 3.5x/80mm periscope) and a comparable battery (5,080mAh vs 5,200mAh).

8/128GB – £300 at Amazon UK

It costs twice as much, so it’s no surprise that the Nothing phone (3) is better than (4b). By the way, that’s the price with a solid discount of £300. Nothing’s only flagship is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and uses a 5,150mAh Si/C battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. Its main camera has a large 1/1.3” 50MP sensor, a 50MP 3x periscope and a 50MP 114° ultra-wide.
