Google is already teasing the Pixel 11 series, which will be unveiled on August 12. These could be the first phones to feature chipsets from TSMC’s 2nm fab and are expected to replace the Samsung modem for MediaTek. We’ve also seen leaked prices for the US market.
Rumors suggest that the new Pro and Pro XL will change their base configuration to 12/256GB, dropping 4GB of RAM. The 16GB RAM will be available only on the 512GB variant.
This was one of the best features of the Google Pixel 10 Pro – 16GB of RAM is rare on a US flagship. You won’t get it from Samsung (unless you get the 16GB/1TB S26 Ultra) and you won’t get it from Apple either.

The vanilla Google Pixel 10 has 12GB of RAM, even though it’s not a “Pro” phone. It has the same Tensor G5 chips (3nm TSMC) as the 10 Pro and the same size screen, 6.3”. However, it is a lower-resolution (1080p+ vs 1280p+), non-LTPO panel. The vanilla phones also have less capable cameras than the Pro. For an in-depth comparison, check out our Pixel 10 vs Pixel 10 Pro article.

There is also Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. This is exactly the same hardware as the 10 Pro, except for the screen (the XL has a larger 6.8″ LTPO panel) and battery (5,200 mAh vs. 4,870 mAh). However, these two are on par and both phones achieved essentially the same active usage scores in our testing – 12:29 hours for the Pro XL and 12:06 hours for the Pro.

The Motorola Razr 2026 is slightly cheaper than last week. The phone has a 3.6” cover and a 6.9” inner display (the latter is LTPO). It is powered by the Dimensity 7450X and a 4,800mAh Si/C battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. There’s a dual 50MP camera on the back (1/1.95″ sensor for the main, 122° lens for the ultra-wide) and a 32MP selfie snapper inside. Of course, you can use the main camera for selfies when the phone is off.

There’s a small discount on the Razr+ models just like last week, so let’s take a look at the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 instead. Unfortunately, the discount here is also quite low and this model needs it most. The Ultra has been upgraded to a 4” cover display and a faster 7” 165Hz inner display (both LTPO). And it has a flagship chipset, although it’s from last year – the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It has a 5,000mAh battery with fast 68W wired and 30W wireless charging. The camera setup includes a large 50MP sensor for the main (1/1.56”) and a 50MP selfie module inside.

With OnePlus leaving the North American market, there are now very few alternatives to Apple, Samsung, Google and Motorola. The Nothing Phone (4A) Pro is one such option – the phone has a unique style with a glyph matrix (dot matrix display) on the back. It features a 6.83″ 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and a 5,080mAh battery with 50W wired-only charging. The camera is interesting – a 50MP (1/1.56″) main joined by a 50MP 3.5x/80mm periscope and an 8MP ultra-wide.

While Motorola isn’t an alternative brand, the Motorola Edge (2026) is interesting in its own right – it has a 6.3″ display, like the Pixel 10 (and the pricier Galaxy S26 and iPhone 17). The phone is IP69 rated and has a 7.2mm thick plastic frame that houses a fast-charging 5,000mAh battery (68W wired, 15W wireless). It also has a telephoto camera, a 3x/73mm module to go with the 10MP 50MP main (1/1.56”) and 50MP ultra-wide. The selfie camera also has a 50MP sensor. This phone is powered by Dimensity 7450.
