Deals: Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 and 9 Pro, as well as Pixel 9 Pro Fold are on pre-order

The biggest launch this week so far was the arrival of the Google Pixel 9 series. The search giant launched two new flagships, a new near-flagship phone, and a new foldable, all of which are currently on pre-order.

Google and Amazon are offering store credit on the purchase of Pixel 9 phones and some accessories like the new Buds.

The Google Pixel 9 starts at $1,100 for the 128GB model and comes with $150 in store credit. Plus, you can swap out old phones too – a Pixel 8 in good condition costs $380, the Pixel 7 $300, and the Galaxy S23 $365. Older Apple phones can be bought at the best prices, with the iPhone 15 going for $520 and the 14 going for $450.

You might want to buy a case to protect your new phone – Google’s official cases are made from recycled materials (at least 42% of the total, 85% of the polycarbonate shell). The Pixel 9 and 9 Pro are the same size, so they use the same case, there’s a different case for the larger Pixel 9 Pro XL – both cost the same $50.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold gets the most store credit yet, $475, and it deserves it. A trade-in won’t hurt either, like you can get $500 for the Pixel 8 Pro or $600 for the Galaxy Z Fold5. The Fold also gets a year of free Gemini Advanced.

Google has launched a new 45W charger, which you’ll need to get maximum charging speeds with the Pixel 9 Pro – the old 35W charger won’t do it. However, if you have a USB-PD charger you’re happy with, you can skip this one.
