Last week, the Samsung Galaxy A36 got its first discount and it is still effective. The Galaxy A56 is still “coming soon” and its initial price will be $ 500.
After the announcement of the A36 and A56, Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe Deaments dried up. Now they are back – the cost of an 8/128GB unit is $ 500, which is similar to A56. However, the Fe model has a high-end chipset (Exynos 2400E vs. 1580), better water resistance (IP68 vs. IP67) and a telephoto camera (8MP 3x/75 mm).
It also supports dex. However, its battery is small and slow to charge on USB-C (4,700mAh, 25W vs. 5,000mAh, 45W), although there is also a wireless option (15W). The software support window is effectively left for both with 6 major OS updates.

The Samsung Galaxy A36 is below $ 340. It is similar to the A56, but to reach the low price point, it sacrifices the performance (Snapdragon 6 General 3) with UFS 2.2 storage instead of UFS 3.1) and aluminum frames are replaced with a plastic. See our Galaxy A36 vs. A56 article for more detailed comparison.
