Deal: The Galaxy S26+ gets a deeper discount on its 512GB model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is also on sale

This week saw Apple’s annual WWDC. A week ago, it was Google I/O – both are software-focused events, so there was no new hardware. So, we turn to older models instead.

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ isn’t going to win any popularity contests, but it’s a solid middle-of-the-road smartphone that offers a good balance of features, support, and price. Right now, the 512GB model is priced at under $900 – that’s the same price as the 256GB version, but note that only the black units have this deep cut. Cobalt Violet is second best at $1,020, which is a big difference. If you don’t like the black color then maybe you can put a case on it.

Meanwhile, last year’s Samsung Galaxy S25+ is available for $750 with a discount and a $50 coupon. However, there are no 12/512GB units available. Now, the S26+ wasn’t a huge upgrade over the S25+ – here’s our detailed comparison between the two – but getting the 512GB S26+ for $150 more might be a better deal for the extra performance and longer battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE was missing for a while – we suspect this was to give the new Galaxy A57 room to breathe after launch. Well, now the S25 FE is back and it costs the same as the A57. Even with the $60 discount on the A57 that it had last week, the FE would still probably be the better choice. Here’s our Galaxy S25 FE vs A57 comparison. We also have an S25 FE vs S25+ article if you’re interested.

Here are the Galaxy A57 and its cheaper brother, the Galaxy A37. The Galaxy A57 is a solid upgrade over the A56 and has its share of features over the A37, though the $175/$145 price difference between the two makes it a more difficult choice.
