David Beckham and wife Victoria are at odds with their eldest son Brooklyn. The family feud became a public spectacle last week when the youngster spoke out against his parents in a series of notes shared on his social media accounts. After this, many wondered if the Beckhams would ever fully get together again, and a source has revealed that the couple want billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz to stay away from their son if they ever get him back.
Source reveals possibility of Beckham reuniting with son
“David and Victoria love Brooklyn and are terrified of losing their son. They’d have him back in a minute,” a source shared with People on Tuesday. A separate source revealed that although the couple wants to reunite as a family, they need their daughter-in-law to take a step back from the narrative and are holding firm on their oldest demand, “The Beckhams have no intention of reconciling with their son until Nicola is out of the picture.”
Madly in love, the couple tied the knot in 2022, where the problems got blown out of proportion. Amidst all this chaos, the insider close to the matter explained, Brooklyn Beckham is unlikely to listen to his parents’ wishes, adding, “This is not an ultimatum he will accept.”
Earlier, the 26-year-old had shared a long 6-page speech against his family, especially his people, accusing them of trying to create a rift between him and his wife Nicola Peltz. Additionally, he shared that his mother had made life difficult for his future wife by canceling the production of her bridal dress ‘at the 11th hour’. It seems that the family fought over many things during the wedding planning process, including their seating positions and the decision to include their grandmother at the same table with the then-newlywed couple at the ceremony.
David Beckham reacted briefly to his son’s words, calling them a ‘mistake’ and shrugged it off by saying it was a mistake he would want his child to make. He did not comment on the eldest son’s many allegations.
