Aishwarya Rajinikanth shared a series of pictures from the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, in which she expressed her pride and gratitude for superstar Rajinikanth being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for completing 50 years in Indian cinema. The filmmaker marked this emotional moment with a heartfelt note dedicated to his father.

Superstar’s arrival in Goa The hotel staff and fans welcomed him warmly. Videos circulating online showed him entering the venue amid drum beats and greeting fans with folded hands. His family later joined him at a ceremony to celebrate the milestone.
This year’s festival celebrated the centenaries of many renowned filmmakers and artistes, including Guru Dutt, Raj Khosla, Ritwik Ghatak, P. Banumathi, Bhupen Hazarika and Salil Choudhary, by screening restored versions of their classics.
Throughout the event, the Indian Panorama section included 25 feature films, 20 non-feature films and five debut films, showcasing the diverse voices and narratives that continue to shape Indian cinema.
