Ananya Panday is currently enjoying praise for her latest film, CTRL. The cyber thriller marks his first collaboration with director Vikramaditya Motwane. Not only the audience but also the industry members have expressed their appreciation for the film. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently reviewed it and described Ananya’s performance as ‘excellent’. He also revealed that he had to ‘uninstall many apps’ from his phone because of the film.
Today, October 5, 2024, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a poster of the film CTRL on her Instagram Stories. He wrote a special note in which he highly recommended the film. Samantha said, “Highly recommended and a must watch #CTRL. It is entertaining from beginning to end and exceptionally well made.”
Talking about Ananya Pandey’s acting and the impact of the film, the Citadel: Honey Bunny actress said, “@ananyapanday beauty, your performance was excellent. This prompted me to immediately pick up my phone and uninstall several apps. Congratulations team #CTRL.”

Earlier, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had also shared his thoughts about the film in a long note on Instagram. Praising Vikramaditya Motwane’s work, Anurag said, “@motwane is out with another banger. Again pushing the boundaries of technology and storytelling. You can’t stop that man, or put him in a box. Always braver than everyone around you.”
Praising Ananya’s performance, Anurag further said, “It’s a thriller, it’s scary, it’s a nightmare with a career-best central performance from @ananyapanday. In CTRL, Ananya Panday’s character Naila is seen giving control of her life and happiness to an AI app. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the film is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya A Menon.
Vihaan Samat, who was seen with Ananya in the web series Call Me Bey, plays her boyfriend Joe in Ctrl. The film was released on Netflix on 4 October 2024.
