Rajinikanth’s much awaited film, Cool, is in theaters, today (14 August). While fans enjoy action and great performance from Staller Star Cast, the entire film was leaked online within a few hours of its release in the cinema hall.
The pirated version of the film is available to stream, even before completing the film on a big screen.
According to media reports, the film is available in various versions from 240p RIPs, which are not very good for 1080p prints, which are premium quality. However, the move hurts the number of box office of the film.

As a film, Cool marked the return of the South Superstar on the Big Screen after Vettyian, which was released in 2024. Lokesh Kanagaraj direction revolves around a former gold smuggler Deva. He rises back to power and is planning to steal the technology hidden in gold watches.
In this process, however, things take a deadly turn with many life at stake. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan and Upendra Rao.
Cool has already broken several records in Tamil cinema. 100 crores in pre-booking sales. If market experts are to be believed, the film is almost Rs. 300 crores at the global box office.
Meanwhile, fan is in love with the actor’s attraction and swag that he exits onscreen. Viewers and critics have hired Cool to be a “blockbuster” to their reviews. The film clearly celebrates Rajinikanth’s 50 years in cinema.
For the issue of piracy, online leaked versions can hurt films not only in one but also in several ways. The copies have poor photographs and sound quality and changed views, and there is a disturbance on the way of the film.
Cool is successfully running in theaters.
