Cool and War 2 were the two most anticipated films of the year undeniably. Coulie, more or less, managed to meet the expectations of the desired weekend, while War 2 failed to do so. Cool had a record of Rs 375 crore around the world, but War 2 was a Famble, with about Rs 257 crore gathered. War 2, being a more wider attractive film than a pricier and cool, should have been more than cool, but it has not happened.

Cool took a gain of Rs 70 crore in the early day, and it increased its lead to a weekend of about Rs 118 crore. Coulie is slightly better than War 2, and this would mean that the coolie will end with a lifetime collection of about 150 crores more than War 2 throughout the run. Coulie targets a final number in an area around Rs 500 crore while War 2 can be difficult to reach Rs 350 crore. The combined collection of two films will fail to hit 900 crore rupees worldwide and it is not good. There is nothing that affects more than reducing reputation, and this is what happened here.
