American Attorney General Palm Bondi on Thursday released a set of files related to infamous financer Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sex trafficking and other serious crimes, but committed suicide before his test in 2019.
Bondi said the files fulfilled the pledge of transparency in the rule made by US President Donald Trump, although there was no immediate revelation in the documents. The department said that many of them had leaked earlier.
Bondi said in a statement, “The department is following the transparency of President Trump and commitment to the veil of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-scientists to lift the veil on the disgusting tasks.”
The documents included an evidence list, flight plans, and a contact book, which was part of the test of Epstein, the ex -girlfriend of Epstein, who was convicted for sexual offenses in 2021.
Maxwell has been serving a 20 -year jail sentence in New York since 2022.
Bondi said that his department had found documents of 200 pages in response to the request of “full and complete” files on Epstein.
“However, the Attorney General was informed about thousands of pages of documents related to Epstein’s investigation and prosecution,” however, “however,” however, was not disclosed earlier. “
Bandy requested the Bureau of Federal Investigation run by Trump appointment Kash Patel to provide the remaining documents to his office by Friday morning.
Epstein, a financer with a powerful network in the United States and abroad, was accused of raping young girls, but his suicide stopped his prosecution by hanging in New York Jail in August 2019.
He was accused of running a sex trafficking ring with Maxwell for about three decades.
Unheard documents in the case included many high-profile politicians, celebrities and businessmen around his death in August 2019.
The US Department of Justice and FBI, however, found no evidence of playing dishonesty in his death.
The report of the Inspector General of the Department of Justice of 2023, however, was found “a combination of negligence, misconduct, and lump sum, which allows Epstein to kill his life.
