Chris Hemsworth took a surprising step from superhero to drummer as he performed live with Ed Sheeran in front of 70,000 fans at National Arena in Bucharest, Romania. This moment is part of the upcoming document of Hemsworth: Live Better Now, which examines the physical and mental challenges promoting better health and longevity.
The performance took place during Sheeran’s + – = × × Tour and Hemsworth played a drum on the hit song thinking out loud. This marked a big innings for the actor, who admitted that he had no music experience before taking a challenge.

The idea came from Ed Sheeran, who dared Hemsworth to perform live during one of his concerts. Hemsworth accepted the challenge and trained intensely under Parkway Drive drummer Ben Gordon.
Sheeran described the experience as “possibly the most difficult tasks”. In the trailer for the upcoming series, Chris Hemsworth showed rhythm and nerves during his drumming practice.

After the performance, Sheeran gave Hemsworth a comic ‘Participation Award for Drumming Excellence,’ a trophy that was a hand -holding drumstick -shaped. This was a playful sign for their friendship, once hemsworth gifting Sheeran replied with a replica of Thor’s hammer and Sheeran with a guitar.
Limitless: Live Better Now Premier on 15 August on Disney+ and Hulu. It will also air on National Geographic on 25 August. Three-portion documents are with Chris Hemsworth of 2022 and include other challenges such as snow climbing in Swiss Alps and training with special forces of South Korea.
