Choreographer Jani Master recently shared an emotional video of his reunion with family after getting interim bail. Jani Master was arrested on September 19 for sexually assaulting a woman, who was a minor at the time of the incident. The choreographer has now shared a clip with his family and said that “the truth will prevail.”

“A lot has been taken away from us in these 37 days. The prayers of my family and well-wishers brought me here today. Truth is often eclipsed but it is never extinguished, one day it will prevail. This phase of life that my entire family went through will leave a scar on my heart forever,” read the full caption.

Jani Master was granted bail by the Telangana High Court on 24 October. He later shared a video in which he was seen hugging his wife and his children.

The clip was set to the tune of the Animal song, ‘Papa Meri Jaan’. Internet users were not happy with this as one person wrote, “Sure your family will be in pain but at the end of the day you are an accused. Apart from trolls and all, you didn’t go to jail by joining social services, you committed rape.” And went to jail on charges of harassing women, but you are behaving like a social worker.”

Another comment read, “Justice came soon and hope you didn’t make any mistakes!! (sic).”

After the allegations against Jani Master came to light, his National Award for Best Choreographer was immediately cancelled.
