Chiranjeevi reveals first picture and names of Ram Charan’s twins in emotional post
Chiranjeevi posts first pictures of Ram Charan and Upasana’s newborn twins, shares their names and heartfelt meanings at a family function.
Megastar Chiranjeevi gave fans a glimpse of an intimate family celebration on February 13 when he shared the first official pictures of his newborn grandchildren – Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s twins – during the naming ceremony of them. The twins, born on January 31, 2026, have been named Shiva Ram Konidela and Anvira Devi Konidela.
While making the announcement on X, Chiranjeevi expressed “immense happiness and divine grace” while introducing the children to the world and seeking blessings for them. Explaining the meaning behind the names, he described Shiva Ram as a powerful blend of two spiritual and moral ideals.
Chiranjeevi said that “Shiva” takes inspiration from his birth name, Shiv Shankar Vara Prasad, which symbolizes inner strength, spiritual depth and peace. “Ram”, he said, comes from the name Ram Charan and represents righteousness, compassion and moral courage. The name reflects the harmony between inner strength and responsible action, he said.
Chiranjeevi described the name of the child Anvira Devi as the embodiment of divine femininity. He shared that Anveera Kanak is a symbol of fearlessness, resilience and divine protection, inspired by the blessings of Goddess Durga. According to them, this name signifies grace, courage and unwavering strength.
The photographs of the ceremony captured the warm and cozy atmosphere. Ram Charan and Upasana were seen with their newborns and their daughter Kline Cara, surrounded by both grandparents. Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha posed for pictures holding the twins in their arms, while Upasana’s parents Shobhana and Anil Kamineni attended the celebration.
The announcement was immediately followed by warm wishes from fans and well-wishers, with many congratulating the Konidela family on starting the twins’ new journey. Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela had earlier formally introduced their newborn twins after a traditional naming ceremony in the presence of their close family and friends.
