Chinese actor Jin Zi has died at the age of 33, his agency, Shengshi Guangyan Culture Co., Ltd., confirmed on June 6. Along with announcing the actor’s death, the agency urged the public and media to avoid spreading unverified rumors or speculations and requested privacy for his family while making funeral arrangements.
“It is with great sadness that we announce that our contracted actor Jin Zhe (Zhang Jiawei) passed away at his home in Hangzhou on June 4, 2026,” the agency said in an official statement.
