Chhawa Box Office Day 9: Vicky Kaushal gets the highest grossing film of his career

Chhatrapati, based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, continues to perform well at the box office, which so far collects Rs 286.75 crore. The film has overtaken Uri’s lifetime collection.

Vicky Kaushal now has the new most grossing film of his career, and it is none other than his latest release, Chhawa. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film has defeated Aditya Dhar’s Lifetime Collection of Uri: The Surgical Strike in just nine days. What’s more – on its second Saturday, the film recorded a high collection compared to its first Saturday.

After a half -day, Uri was just Rs 2 crore less than overtaking.The URI’s lifetime collection was Rs 244.14 crore. 9 days, i.e. on the second Saturday, the film carried forward its first Saturday collection. According to initial estimates, Chhawa recorded Rs 44 crore at the box office, compared to Rs 37 crore on day 2. The total collection of the film is now Rs 286.75 crore. The occupancy was also good – at 56 percent.

Director Laxman YouTech Vicky Kaushal includes Chhawa Chhatrapati as Sambhaji Maharaj. In this, Rashmika Mandanna is also in the form of Queen Yasubai Bhonsle. Akshaye Khanna played Aurangzeb in the film, produced by Dinesh Vijan.
