Sony Pictures has announced that the upcoming Anime film by Chensaw Man: Raz Arch, Mappa will be released to start this decline internationally. The film is ready for a premiere in Japan on September 19, 2025, followed by screening in more than 80 countries since 24 September. The US dramatic release is scheduled for October 29, 2025.
The Rease Arch’s film adaptation was first manifested at Jump Festa 2025, where an update art style and a trailer displaying intensive action sequences was released. The trailer quickly received traction, viewed 19 million times within 24 hours. Along with the trailer, it was announced that Vistoria: Wand and Talwar director Tatsuya Yoshirahara would replace the film Ruyu Nakayima.
Chensaw Man: The Raz Arch Tatsuki is based on the hit manga of Phujimoto and continues the story of a young Satan hunter who merges with his pet Satan, Pochita, to become a Chensaw Man. The film will focus on Denji’s encounter with raz, who is working in a cafe, a mysterious girl who follows a date with her superior, Makima. While the encounter appears innocent at the first time, it soon leads to a high-day fight and shocking revelations.
The film marks the return of Chensaw Man after its first season, which was aired in 2022 under the production of Mappa. Crunchyroll has licensed the film for foreign distribution in collaboration with Sony Pictures.
With its widespread release, Chensaw Man: Ridge Arch is expected to have a significant impact at the Global Anime box office, which continues the success of Fuzimoto’s popular franchise.
