Samantha Ruth Prabhu ‘Loca: Chapter 1’ has joined the chorus of praise for the Malayalam film, which introduces Kalyani Priyadarshan as India’s first female superhero.
Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Duller Salman, a mixture of the film’s mythology and fantasy, made the audience and critics equally. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt also appreciated the film.
After being moved on social media, Samantha shared her excitement: “Saw Loca and Wowwww !! What is an experience. View, sound and action – every frame felt alive and the world pulled me completely. But whatever was with me was watching our first woman superhero on screen.
The film has also hit gold at the box office, has crossed Rs 100 crore in its first week and has become the highest-grossing female-linked film in South India.
