‘Chanta Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies’, a Malayalam film about a Malayalam film, which is about the high-octane world of underground wrestling, officially went on the floor on Tuesday. Directed by Debutant Adhwith Nair, the film features Arjun Ashokan and Roshan Matthew mainly in Pivolell roles with Ishan Shalutath and poisonous Nair. The film is being produced by Ritesh S Ramakrishnan and Cannes-wise filmmaker Shihan Shokath under the Banner Reel World Entertainment.

‘Darling’s’ actor Roshan Matthew shared his excitement, saying, “I have never done anything before. The wrestling entertainment world is as emotionally as fast as it is. I am thrilled to dive this place with ‘Chatha Pacha’.”

‘Chanta Pacha’ is set against Fort Kochi’s raw and energetic background. The story follows the world of a hidden, WWE-style wrestling club and deeply dives in the emotional and chaotic life of those within it. It has been billed as a cultural crossover that combines the local story with a universal appeal of wrestling entertainment.

Sharing glimpses with the first clap of the film on the puja ceremony and Instagram, producer Shihan Shokath wrote in his caption, “There is a glimpse among the energy, emotions and incredible people who kick ‘Chanta Pacha’ with all the hearts. Guests who came together to illuminate the spark.

Team ‘Chakha Pacha’ at the worship ceremony

Connecting the uniqueness of the project, composer Trikadi Shankar -Ehsan -Aloy celebrated, will start his Malayalam with music of the film. The background score will be handled by Mujib Majeed, who is known for his work in ‘Kashkandha Kandam’.

The film is written by Sanop Thaikudam with screenplay and dialogues by Adhwath Nair. Cinematographer Ennd C Chandran, who is known for ‘Premam’ and ‘Bhishma Parvam’, is on the board with Stunt’s Director Kingson, who earned praise for his work in ‘Marco’.
