Celina Jaitley alleged that her children are being brainwashed by posts on Mother’s Day.
Celina Jaitley said in a Mother’s Day note that she is being prevented from speaking to her three children amid her divorce battle with Peter Haag. The post links her detention claim in Austria to her domestic violence case in India and her vow to continue the legal fight.
Actress Celina Jaitley celebrated Mother’s Day with a very personal note, in which she opened up about her ongoing divorce battle with husband Peter Haag. She alleged that she has been denied access to her children despite joint custody and existing court orders in Austria.
Her post came months after she initiated legal proceedings against Haag, alleging domestic violence, cruelty and manipulation and demanding Rs 50 crore in compensation.
Recently, Mumbai Police registered an FIR under several sections of the Indian Code of Justice, 2023 and issued a look-out circular against Haag over alleged non-cooperation in the investigation.
What did Selena allege in her Mother’s Day post?
In a detailed note shared on Mother’s Day, Selena said she felt compelled to speak publicly because she is separated from her children.
“I have no choice but to share these videos. The day I decided to leave Austria to protect my dignity, my children and my brother (sic) is the same day I lost my children,” she said, alleging that she has survived what she described as “systematic harassment, isolation, emotional abuse, humiliation and fear (sic).”
She further claimed that despite joint custody arrangements and existing orders from the Austrian Family Court, she is currently being deprived of communication with her three children.
“My children have been taken to an undisclosed location and they are being brainwashed against their own mother,” she alleged, adding that she was also unable to meet them during a recent divorce hearing in Austria.

The actor also recalled visiting his late son Shamsher’s grave during the trip. He described the experience as emotionally overwhelming, writing, “The only child I got was my late angel, Shamsher.”
Selena alleged that she was served divorce papers on the pretext of receiving a gift on their 15th wedding anniversary in September. She said that despite repeated attempts for an amicable separation, her efforts were met with coercion, threats and demands related to her pre-marital property.
“All I asked for were my children and what I contributed to this marriage,” she wrote, adding that she would return to India to continue her legal fight for “dignity, truth and justice.”

Selena married Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag in 2010. The couple have twin sons, Winston and Viraj, born in 2012, and another son, Arthur, born in 2017. He had earlier talked about losing his son Shamsher due to a heart disease.
In November 2025, Celina approached the Andheri Magistrate Court in Mumbai alleging domestic violence and cruelty. She demanded financial compensation and claimed the abuse began soon after their marriage.
