Celebration starts: Suriya and director Venky Ataluri goes to the film floor
The shooting of Tamil actor Suria’s upcoming film, directed by Venky Ataluri, has begun, titled ‘Suriya 46’, which was titled. The film also stars ‘Premlu’ fame Mamita Baiju.

Tamil actor Suria has started shooting for his new film, titled ‘Suriya 46’, directed by Venki Ataluri of ‘Lucky Bhaskar”s fame. The manufacturers announced an update on their social media with a poster featuring Suriya. The film also stars Mamita Baiju of ‘Premlu’ fame with Suria.
In an X post by Sithara Entertainments, The Production House supported the film, The caption wrote, “The First Step to the First Treat Treats Jilesh, Emotion and Entertainment.” Suriya 46 ‘shoot begins! ” He announced with a poster characterized by Suriya in a stylish semi-formal gate-up, as the lesson was read on the poster, “And the celebration begins”
Suriya was recently seen in Hyderabad with his daughter Diya. He arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday and attended the wedding reception of Nagarjuna’s younger son, Akhil Akineni and Zainab Raojani. He was accompanied by Telugu director Venki Ataluri.
‘Suriya 46’ also stars Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in lead roles with Suria and Mamita Baiju. The music for the film is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while Nimish Ravi handles Cinematography. The film is being produced by Naga Vamsi under the banner star entertainment.
On its release in October 2024, Venky Ataluri’s ‘Lucky Bhaskar’ was a superhit at the box office, which earned more than Rs 110 crore at the box office worldwide. The film featured Duller Salman and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead roles. The film was also well appreciated by critics, who wrote it neatly about financial fraud and called it extraordinaryly enacted drama.
Suriya was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Retro’, directed by Karthik Subaraj. The film also starred in Pooja Hegde, Jujo George, Jairam, Prakash Raj and Vidya. Despite its high expectations before its release, the film faced a mixed word-mouth and tough competition from other new release, eventually distributed to a decent box office performance.
