Here’s a newspaper archive from a newspaper in Connecticut where she was arrested.”The archived report described Owens as “the victim of an alleged hate crime in which the mayor’s son was a suspect,” while also saying he was later arrested after “sending threatening messages via Facebook.”Stamford Police Sergeant Joseph Kennedy said, according to the article, “Owens allegedly sent a digital message threatening physical harm to another person’s account.”CTPost and News-Times reports said Owens faced charges of second-degree harassment and second-degree menacing at the time.
