Caleb explained that he had not lived with D4vd in years and that the two were not very close growing up. Some social media users claimed that the clip showed him secretly bringing Celeste backstage during the D4vd concert. Caleb denied that allegation and explained what really happened.According to Caleb, Celeste was already attending the concert before the backstage moment shown in the video. He said that someone near the stage asked him to pick up an item from a fan, and the clip showed him walking back after that. Caleb said he was only 15 at the time and barely knew Celeste personally.He wrote in full, “People have been posting a video of me backstage with them at a d4vd concert when I was 15 and I’ve been wanting to address this for a while. People are even saying that I was hiding behind them and going backstage, which is not true.Caleb also denied claims that he suddenly started making music after being thrust into the spotlight over his brother. He told that he has been sharing music online for the last three to four years. He said that he also abstained from music for more than six months due to the emotional burden of the situation.The 18-year-old also revealed that he changed his online name from “CvLab” to “Cova” because he did not want his identity to be associated with the controversy.
