BTS’ V announces death of pet dog Yeontan, thanks fans for support

Kim Taehyung, also known as V of BTS, shared the heartbreaking news of his beloved dog Yeontan passing away on December 2, 2024. Through a heartfelt post on social media, V expressed his deep sorrow while reflecting on old memories with Yeontan. Who had been an important part of his life and fans of BTS, ARMY.
In the post, V wrote tenderly about Yeontan’s visit to “dog heaven” and thanked Sena for giving her pet immense love over the years.
He urged fans to keep Yeontan in their thoughts so he can “be happy even in heaven.” Known for his close relationship with Yeonton, V often shared moments with “Tannie” (as fans affectionately call him), who was universally adored.
In fact, Yonatan featured on the poster for V’s first solo album, Layover, and appeared again with the late Bing Crosby on the cover of his next single, White Christmas.
Taehyung wrote, “To be honest, the reason I came to write posts like this is because Yeontan recently went on a long trip to dog heaven. I’ve thought a lot about how to tell you about this, but I’m bringing this news to you because I thought it would be right to tell all of the ARMYs who have sent so much love so far. I would be grateful if the Army could think of Yeontan here and there so that he can be happy in heaven too.
V ended his message with gratitude and love for his supporters, encouraging the troops to cherish their loved ones.
