BTS’ Jin thanks ARMY after Paris Olympics 2024 debut: I was so nervous
BTS’ eldest member and vocalist Jin recently held the torch at the Paris Olympics 2024. Jin later shared a note through his agency and thanked his fans for encouraging him.
BTS’ Jin recently held the torch at the Paris Olympics 2024 event and kicked off the much-awaited sporting event. Jin held the torch amid the enthusiastic cheers of his fans who gathered in huge crowds to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.
“It was an honor to be a part of such a meaningful moment. I was able to play the honorable role of torchbearer thanks to the support of ARMY (BTS’s official fanbase). I’m truly grateful. I was so nervous that I didn’t even realize how time passed, but I was able to perform my best thanks to the many people on site who cheered me on loudly,” Jin said in a statement, as quoted by Billboard.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games will begin on July 27 and end on August 11. It will feature over 15,000 athletes from over 200 countries.
