‘Brown kids’ comment was out of love: Michigan Democrat El-Sayed says JD Vance is ‘very bad’

Michigan Democrat El-Sayed clarifies her ‘brown kids’ comment on J.D. Vance’s children, saying it was out of love.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a Michigan Democrat who is running for the Senate seat, responded to the outrage over his statement targeting Vice President J.D. Vance’s children as ‘brown children’ and said it was done out of love because he wants J.D. Vance’s children and all other children of immigrants, including his children, to feel that they are Americans. However, he said that J.D. Vance is a bad person and very evil, and he has a deep hatred for him, but not his children.“Can you imagine, he has brown kids, at some point he’s going to have really weird conversations with his kids, like, you’ve built your career on hating people who are different,” El-Sayed said on The Ellen Analysis Show.“She has to look at her kids and be like, ‘Yes, they’re brown kids, they’re mine,'” El-Sayed said. Saeed said, “I love my brown kids, and I think my brown kids are just as American as everybody else. J.D. Vance has brown kids who he believes are less American than everybody else.”Doubling down on the same criticism, El-Sayed said in a recent podcast that Vance uses ethics to make arguments that are immoral. Questioning what the VP really believes in, El-Sayed said that he uses everything to further his self-interest.“I think we need to find a way where we get back to a point of politics that helps us resolve differences peacefully in our country. However, I think it’s really important for us to call out hypocrisy when we see it. And you know, wanting to build an America where your own relatives are not the same as others and then not really talk about it, that’s a deep level of hypocrisy.”“And so at least for me, when I think about my kids, there’s a linearity that I want an America where her kids, my kids, all of our kids get to live without being told that they’re less than and don’t deserve it. I just talk about their kids lovingly because I want them to believe that they’re just as American as everyone else.”
