Malayalam blockbuster film Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Brothers continues its stellar run at the box office. The coming-of-age comedy drama earned Rs. Second Thursday earned Rs. 4.25 crores and the second week ended with Rs. Earned Rs 42.55 crore at Kerala box office.
Affiliated for its extended first week of Rs. 57.20 crore, 15 day earning of Reason 2 is now Rs. Earning of Rs 99.75 crore in Kerala. As you read, the Malayalam film has already crossed Rs. It has become the third film till date to achieve this big feat by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark on its home turf.
The film, starring a bunch of newcomers, joins Mohanlal’s Thudaram and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Loka Chapter One – Chandra in this exclusive box office club. It also emerged as the fastest Malayalam film to enter the three-figure club. For the record, Reason 2 entered the Rs 100 crore club in just 15/16 days. Thudaram achieved this feat in 19 days, while Loka took around 24 days.
