Jurassic World, led by Scarlett Johansson: Riberth has seen an unprecedented jump at the box office in India on its second Saturday. According to initial estimates, the film is increasing from Rs 6.25 crore to Rs 6.75 crore to Rs 59.70 crore on its ninth day. The fourth film of the Jurassic World Franchise has seen a jump of 150 percent in trade on 2 Saturdays, which is from the second Friday of Rs 2.75 crore.
Jurassic World: Rebirth Lost some screens OvermanAnd Malik in its second week, but still dominates the box office in India. In-fact, the film saw better occupancy than Superman at most centers, and was mainly suffering due to screen deficiency. The commendable fact is that Jurassic World: Rebirth dominates the ticket windows in India despite no-relief on IMAX properties.
Scarlett Johansson -led dinosaurs are also attracting family audiences, and franchise Power has also taken the film to the mass belt. At the end of the second weekend, the total collections of Jurassic World will stand in the area around Rs 67 crore, and the film has a bright chance to enter a 100 crore club in India if the third weekend shows a similar trend.
Interestingly, Superman has moved to Rs 8.5 crore on its first Saturday, which is just 30 percent above the collection of Jurassic World on its second Saturday. Jurassic World is leading to be a ‘Lambi-Race-C-Gaoda’ in India, and has a big hit at the box office.
