Starring Vash Level 2, Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajar and Hiten Kumar, finally has hit theaters today. The psychological horror film coming from Gujarati cinema has made a great debut at the box office.
Wash level 2 debut with outstanding opening of Rs 1.15 crore
Directed by Krishnadeva Yagnik, Wash Level 2 started at the Indian box office with an unprecedented opening of a net of Rs 1.15 crore. Out of which, 80 lakh rupees came from Gujarat alone, while the rest, 40 lakh rupees, Hindi was contributed by a dubbed version.
It is one of the biggest opening of the Gujarati film so far. Vash Level 2 overtook 3 Ekka, which inaugurated Rs 1.10 crore and became a major success for the manufacturers.
Wash level 2 opens for positive words-mouth, should be aimed for solid development
Wash Level 2 has received a positive reception from the audience so far, meaning that the film is very likely to capitalize on it. Janaki Bodiwala starrer is expected to see unprecedented growth not only in Gujarat, but also in Hindi markets. It will be interesting to see how the film performs in the coming days. It should be noted that the supernatural film will face a tough competition from Param Sundari in Hindi.
For Anwards, Vash Level 2 has been released as a constrained level 2 in Hindi markets. Interestingly, the first part was released in 2023, which was later remade by Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan in Hindi as Satan. Sita’s success opened gates for Gujarati cinema in Hindi as the audience discovered subduction and other regional films.
When the manufacturers decided to bring its sequel, they already knew that wash level 2 could be a big trump card for them to capitalize on Hindi markets.
