Dhurandhar: The Revenge is in its sixth week of release and continues to have a strong hold at the Indian box office, although its performance overseas has been largely subdued. Ranveer Singh starrer this film has earned Rs 10 crore. Around Rs 1646 crores worldwide so far. About Rs 1237 crore has come from India. Around ₹409 crore (USD 43.60 million) from the overseas market.
With this, the film is the second highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide behind Dangal and the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time behind Baahubali: The Conclusion. Having said that, both of these films benefited from being released in China and other international territories at a later stage, which increased their global earnings, especially for Dangal. Looking at base performance alone, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as the biggest Indian film of all time, surpassing Baahubali: The Conclusion.
This record remained held by Baahubali: The Conclusion for more than nine years, with only Pushpa: The Rule coming close. Moreover, the next best is around Rs. 500 crore less, KGF Chapter 2, which shows the horror of this record. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is facing challenge from some of the mega titles releasing soon, including Ramayan and Varanasi.
