Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitivanni Ligamama Rabuka on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him the real ‘boss’ of the world.
In a meeting with Rajya Sabha member and Indian Minority Federation (IMF) convenor Satnam Singh Sandhu and IMF co-founder Himani Sood in Fiji, Rebuka said PM Modi is a top global leader.
Fiji’s Prime Minister praised PM Modi for his mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ to ensure that “I believe Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is a great governance model which PM Modi can adopt as his Which ensures inclusive growth for all I think the world should adopt to make it a better place to live.”
The Fiji PM further said, “My friend (PM Modi) was elected again (as PM) after we met (in 2023), so congratulations again and I would like to ensure that he gets the message that Fiji Still here. We are still committed to our journey of peace, on which PM Modi has long been ‘unity in our development’, unity in our progress and these are great role models for all world leaders.
Fiji’s PM further said that PM Modi has become a symbol of peace and Hindus across the world.
He said, “The faith of those people in India is a huge number. So, I congratulate them for that. Unity in that journey of Hindus in the world will eventually translate into unity among the people of the world.”
Notably, a 21-member delegation comprising representatives from 10 different countries is currently visiting Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh. The international delegation includes representatives from Fiji, Finland, Guyana, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Earlier, during his visit to Fiji in 2023, PM Modi had met Rabuka in Port Moresby. On behalf of Fiji’s President Ratu Viliame Mavelili Katonivere, Prime Minister Rabuka awarded Prime Minister Modi the highest honor of the Republic of Fiji – Companion of the Order of Fiji (CF).
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that a world leader has praised the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Earlier, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had called him (Modi) boss. The President of America had described PM Modi as a brilliant and globally powerful leader and had expressed his desire to take his autograph. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had described PM Modi as the most liked person in the world. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen had said that PM Modi is an inspiration to the world and the Guyana President said he was grateful to him.
