Govind Namdev says he felt ‘used’

in an interview with immortal lightNamdev said that after watching the teaser he was stunned and felt that the project was very different from what was presented to him.

He said, “As soon as I saw the trailer, I was blown away. I immediately realized that this project was completely different from what I had shot. We were never told that a character like Salman Khan would be created and portrayed this way. As soon as I saw the trailer, I felt like I was kept in the dark and used. There is a world of difference between what I was told and what has actually been created.”

The veteran actor claimed that the film was originally offered to him under a different title.

“I was told that we are making a movie called be careful. At that time, I had no idea that the story would later take a completely different direction,” he said.

Namdev said that his role was largely limited to court scenes and he believed that the film would only show those legal proceedings that were already in the public domain.

He said, “I was told that there was a long sequence in the courtroom and that was all I had to do. It was also mentioned that nothing new was being added from our side and we were only presenting what had happened in the court. I felt there was nothing wrong in portraying the facts already on record, which is why I agreed to be a part of it.”
